Teen Camps consist of the following projects:
June Teen Camp meets Tuesday, June 23rd thru Thursday, June 25th 1pm-4pm. This camp will focus on upcycling. We will transform mens button down shirts into super cute skirts or shorts and different style tops, your choose top style and either shorts or skirt. In addition we will embellish our “new” garments by making patches, printing on fabric, adding trim and or beads. Let’s get creative and have fun.
July Teen Camp is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14th thru Thursday, July 16th from 1pm -4 pm. Students will learn to sew a dress from a pattern. Projects for July’s teen camp is the Lakeside Tie Back Dress, by Simple Life Patterns. This dress features a sweet tie back with elastic casing. The slightly scooped front bodice has spaghetti straps and a contour skirt for the perfect twirl. Students will need to bring 2.5 yards of washed cotton quilting type fabric for their dress- *teacher will reach out before class begins.
August Teen Camp is on the calendar for Tuesday, August 11th thru Thursday August 13th – 1pm to 4pm. The project for August’s camp is a quilted sling bag aka a hip bag, fanny pack, bum bag…so many names for one great bag. Make it solid or patchwork, quilt it, plus has a zipper closure -yay learn a zipper application! These trendy bags are easy on your back, great hiking companion, stylish, pickpocket proof and hands free. * material list available after sign up.
SUMMER CAMPS 2026
Seas the Stitch Sewing and Crochet Camp
Sun, sand,crochet, and sewing machines! This summer, trade the screen time for machine time. Enjoy early summer beach vibes that’s all about cool breezes and creative stitches.
Projects include: super cute swim coverup, bag of your choice and other cool things.
We will be focusing on turning the ordinary into extraordinary using: Up-cycling Tips, stamping, embroidery, trim and custom patches.

Sunshine and Stitches - Machine and Hand Sew + Crochet Camp
This summer we are turning up the heat on creativity. Get ready to thread a needle and and brighten your wardrobe. Campers will gain technical machine skills, an eye for textile coordination, and a boost in creative independence.

In the Gnome Zone - Crochet and Sewing Camp
Don’t let the moss grow under your feet! Space in the forest is limited, so grab your thimble and join us for a week of whimsical stitching. Campers will build confidence behind the sewing machine in a fun and, relaxed environment. They will master: machine safety, 3d construction, a touch of color theory and creative embellishing.
Projects include: an adorable gnome stuffy friend, up-cycled T and a skirt
There will be a strong focus on creativity using stamping, custom patches, embroidery and up-cycling tips.
